Annunciation Fest: Celebrating Our Lady’s Fiat

Ave Maria University recently celebrated the Solemnity of the Annunciation, honoring our Lady’s fiat in a beautiful display of faith and community. The celebration brought together University alumni, faculty, staff, and students, and it was an opportunity for Ave Maria townspeople to visit campus and join in the festivities.

The event began with Mass at Ave Maria Parish, celebrated by Bishop Frank Dewane, and was followed by a Eucharistic and Rosary procession to the newly constructed Rosary Wall. Afterwards, the celebration continued under the lights on the library lawn, where guests enjoyed a festive dinner and live music by the band Scythian—a student favorite!

This joy-filled day provided the perfect opportunity to celebrate Mary’s profound Yes to become the Mother of God—a moment that changed the course of salvation history and continues to inspire all of us here at Ave Maria University.
