The Tradition of Prayer

PROGRESS  Photos

The Rosary Wall grew from an inspiration from Ave Maria University founder, Thomas S. Monaghan, and the fourth president of the University, Mark Middendorf. The Rosary Wall honors the tradition of AMU students who would pray the Rosary together while walking home from Mass. Over the years, that tradition has continued and currently students gather every night at 9 p.m. for a Rosary Walk around campus.

The Rosary Wall will memorialize and honor, by name, AMU estate gift donors, friends, and Founders who have included Ave Maria University in their estate plans (bequests, life insurance, or life income agreements). It is also a place where the University will honor memorial and tribute gifts.

Everyone who is honored along the Rosary Wall will be remembered in public Rosaries and become part of our enduring tradition of prayer.
