Marian Classroom Consecration Project
A Permanent Reminder of Our Mother
Help Ave Maria University obtain a permanent reminder of Our Mother for all students, in every classroom at Her university.
Marian Classroom Consecration Project
An image of Our Lady in every classroom
This project aims to place an image or artwork of Our Lady in each classroom on AMU's campus. As a university with a Marian charism, we hope to set Her image alongside the crucifix and Divine Mercy already present in every room.
With a different image and title chosen for each classroom, the project also builds up the collegiate traditions of Ave Maria University, giving a distinct Marian patroness to the work of every room.
In Every Classroom
Currently, all classrooms have a crucifix and an image of Divine Mercy. This project places an image of Our Lady alongside them in every room on campus.
A Title All Her Own
Every classroom is dedicated under a distinct title of the Blessed Virgin Mary, weaving Her devotions into the academic life and traditions of AMU.
Classroom Dedication
A gift of $250 dedicates one classroom under a patroness title of Our Lady, establishing a permanent reminder of Our Mother.
Why your gift matters
These are the rooms where we live out our vocations
For faculty and students, the classroom is where we live out our vocations as teachers, scholars, and students. There is no better way to strengthen that vocation than with an image and title of Our Lady overlooking the daily work of the university.
Please consider supporting this endeavor by reserving a classroom in honor of Our Lady with a $250 donation.
Reserve a classroom under a specific Marian title
Faculty may reserve a classroom with a specific Marian title via a $250 donation, on a first come, first served basis. Image selection is made in consultation with Dr. Thomas Maurer and Dr. Jessica Schnepp. Please email Dr. Maurer directly (thomas.maurer@avemaria.edu) to reserve your title.
Questions about the project? Email Dr. Thomas Maurer or Dr. Jessica Schnepp.
