Ave Maria University is pleased to announce a new direct entry affiliation agreement with The Catholic University of America’s Busch School of Business, creating an assured acceptance pathway for qualifying AMU graduating seniors directly into the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.
This partnership strengthens AMU’s commitment to preparing students for meaningful careers rooted in faith and excellence. It eliminates the traditional uncertainty of graduate admissions by giving eligible students a guaranteed seat in one of the nation’s most respected faith-integrated business programs.
What Eligible Students Receive
Qualifying AMU seniors gain the following advantages:
- Guaranteed admission to the Busch School of Business MBA program—no competitive application review for those who meet the criteria
- Application fee waived
- Admission decisions issued by August 15 for each fall cohort
- Full consideration for financial aid and competitive scholarships offered by The Catholic University of America
- A seamless transition from undergraduate studies at AMU directly into graduate-level business education in Washington, D.C.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for assured acceptance, graduating seniors must:
- Complete a bachelor’s degree from Ave Maria University
- Earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the time of application
- Remain in good academic and disciplinary standing
- Meet all fitness, character and other admission criteria set by The Catholic University of America’s Office of Graduate Admission

Eligible students interested in the assured acceptance MBA pathway should reach out to the AMU Provost’s Office to be formally identified and referred to The Catholic University of America’s Office of Graduate Admission. Applications must be submitted through CUA’s standard graduate admission process, and the Busch School reserves the right to limit the number of directly admitted students each year.
